The Myths of SEOSince the launch of Google’s Penguin algorithm update, the practice of over-optimization violates Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. Websites that practice over-optimization are penalized; this penalty results in a loss of credibility as a website and a decrease in search engine ranking. Any written content should have 2-3% keywords, so a 100 word article should only contain 2-3 keywords.
